Hello my friends! I am a horrible person for not updating in so long, and for not planning to write anything of substance right now, but I've just had this feeling of "ugh, so much stuff is going on, so many pictures are postable, where do I start?" So I thought I would share something that I wrote for the Middlebury Campus, which they just published- the Campus is Middlebury's weekly newspaper, and I have never written anything for it, but they have this section called "Overseas Briefs" which is basically a little article written by a different student who is abroad, and so here in Argentina, at some point I got an email that they sent to all of the students abroad, asking if anyone would like to contribute anything, and I was like, "sure, why not." and then they were like "great, can you get us something by monday?" So I did, and this is the result. (But hmmmph. they took out my favorite line.) Oh, and I was distracted when I saved the document, and saved it as Overseas Briefing (instead of Briefs) and they published it with that title. Anyway, here it is, hopefully you will think positively of it.

And I guess since I'm here, I might as well put one or two pictures on, even though that's kind of a pain.

this is me, together with my friend Nasti (right) and her two sisters Nina (left) and Shannon (second from left) in Uruguay. It was a lovely trip.

Here are two of my mom's cousins who I met in Uruguay, Deborah and Liliana. They took me on a field trip around Montevideo, showing me stuff like my mom's family's house, and this tree that they're sitting on, where my mom used to take them to play when they were kids.

this is back in Buenos Aires, at my great aunt's Rosh Hashana fiesta last week.

Have a great week, check back soon!

Hi Hannah! Your mom sent me your blog URL. Sounds like you're having a blast there. I loved your article in the Middlebury Campus! Hilarious! I'm sure I'd be stepping in dog poo everyday too given my absolute lack of grace and coordination. Oh well, we can't have it all, can we?

Take care!
